The Flower School classes are a wonderful way to learn the basic techniques and skills of floristry, giving students the confidence to create their own beautiful floral designs at home. Vida Flores offers classes in hand-held bouquets, posies, table centrepieces, vase arrangements, and flowers for festive occasions, flowers for adornment and many more.
The classes are led by Davina Prankerd, who established Vida Flores in 2000, developing it into one of New Zealand’s foremost floral design studios. Davina is a classically trained florist, and has been in the industry for over 25 years. With her expertise, creativity and clever aesthetic, she will guide students in creating their own glorious floral arrangements.
This year Vida Flores is also offering a series of Saturday afternoon Creative Workshops, enlisting the skills of some of New Zealand’s top design talents to share their pearls of wisdom. These clever people include the likes of cake decorators, floral and botanical designers, fabric artists and ceramicists.
